City Center Church is full of life, creativity, love, and encouragement. It’s a church where everyone is welcome and anyone can jump on board. Worship is led by City Center Worship and Pastor Matt Purkey shares the Word.

If you're new to City Center Church we'd love to connect with you! We would love to meet you and help you get plugged in here at City Center Church. After your first service, stop by the Welcome Wall and meet our Lead Pastors Matt and Jeannie.

WHAT TO EXPECT
WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS CITY CENTER CHURCH?
City Center Church is all about leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. All of our efforts and time together are focused with that goal in mind. Whether it's through worship, the Word, or connecting in community, we're all about doing life together.
WHEN ARE THE SERVICES?
We meet on Sunday's at 10am for worship. We also meet on Wednesday's for GROW Bible Studies and Classes at 7:00pm.
Our Middle School students meet on Sundays immediately after Worship on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and both, Middle School and High School Students meet on Wednesdays at 6:30PM in the 180 Auditorium on the south side of the building. Kids meet during all services.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
City Center Church is a church for everyone. We encourage people to come as they are and dress in what feels most comfortable.
You'll be directed by our parking attendants and then be greeted warmly by our hosts. If you have kids from infants through 5th grade, you can go to the kids check-in stations located in the main lobby or the west side entrance and check them into City Kids where they will have a blast. Then head over to our main lobby and grab a free cup of fresh coffee or grab a pastry and drink from the Café. Service starts promptly at 10am so be sure to arrive on time. For the easiest visit - let us know you're coming and we'll be ready for you.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?
City Center Church is known for it's powerful and life-applicable messages from Pastor Matt Purkey and amazing, energetic worship led by City Center Worship. The atmosphere is engaging, dynamic, and geared towards ministering to your entire family. Services typically last 1 hour and 30 minutes.
WHAT IS SERVICE LIKE?
HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED
We love connecting with God and each other. The process is simple; Attend a service, visit the connect room and fill out a connect card, join a City Group, and volunteer. If you haven't already, take the first step and simply join us for a service.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
At City Center Church, we love kids! From infants to elementary age, we have done our best to help your children have a blast while learning about Jesus. We have created a fun and safe environment for them by implementing our kids' check-in and check out system.
IS THERE ANYTHING FOR MY TEENAGER?
Our JHI and High School (180KC) Students meets every Wednesday at 6:30PM. They enjoy 30 minutes of pre-service games and fun, the service lasts about 1 hour with worship and a relevant Word from the youth pastor. After service, they get to hang out some more, play games, and occasionally we have food! Check out the 180KC website at oneightykc.com.
