WHAT TO EXPECT
ONEIGHTY is for all students 6th - 12th grades. Games and a high-energy environment contribute to an atmosphere in which students are exposed to God in a comfortable space tailored to their mindset. Equal parts fun, educational, and spiritual, Oneighty builds the foundation for lives that pursue and love God from an early age, understanding who He is and creating a path for success in Him.

YOUR STUDENT'S FIRST VISIT
Want to get your student plugged in? Nervous about not knowing anyone? On their first visit, we have a team right at the entrance doors making them feel welcomed. As soon as they go through the doors, we have a VIP Lounge just for them to meet some of our volunteer leaders that will get them settled in, introduce them to a few students and other leaders before service starts.
START TIME
While service starts at 7:00 pm, we encourage all student to begin arriving at 6:30 pm. This is when we get to meet with the students and where relationship building starts. This is a key ingredient to 180. It prepares the environment and allows students to loosen up and open their hearts for worship and the Word.
SERVICE
Service lasts a little over an hour and consists of worship, prayer time, and a word from the youth pastor. We usually have fun activities, sports, sometimes food / snacks, and generally hang out immediately after service with everything winding down around 8:45 - 9:00 pm.
CONNECT AND PROTECT
Our volunteers are trained with these two components in mind. We are here to connect with the students so as EVERYONE feels welcomed and loved. By simply talking about their day, sports activities or extracurriculars, our volunteer leaders build a relationship with students that extends outside of 180 and into their daily lives with positive influence. Our volunteers are also all screened and have a background check cleared before they are able to serve in 180. We have a security team in place that protects students and the environment at every 180 activity. This includes limiting access in and out of the student area, monitoring the hallways and always ensuring that the students are in the safest environment possible.

While parents are not allowed to roam around freely in 180, for the protection of all students, you are more than welcome to attend and check out a service for yourself on our youtube channel. We can also arrange for one of our volunteer leaders to show you around and explain what we do and how we do it in more detail if your student is new to 180.
